Sarama Rolle

Sarama Rolle is well placed to becoming an influential figure on Dominica’s visual arts landscape in the future. Youthfulness and bright inquiring eyes manage to shine through the shy exterior of this up-and-coming artist. Sarama’s output of digital and acrylic work range from dreamlike to realistic with an enviable depth of perspective. Her allegorical work has won her 1st prize at Woosh, the first national art exhibition put on by the Waitukubuli Artists Association in 2018 and a well-loved and evocative work entitled Maria. Samara first pursued medical studies to an advanced stage and now concentrates on a career as a full-time artist.
